*/Need to Update your Project or Subproject Names?/*

Please update or confirm the Subproject/Unit names that should be on
each certificate. */The names provided within the EDGE App are the names
that we will include on the project certificates when certification is
achieved. Note that Unit names can be no longer than 20 characters./

It is vital that the correct names be provided. If a project's
certificates must be reissued post certification due to incorrect names
being provided, the project will be assessed a fee of $99.
**/
/*The project name and the subproject name(s) can be changed by the
Project Creator or the Project Admin within the EDGE App:/*
*/   1) Open the subproject on EDGE App for which the name needs to be
modified
    2) Click Rename under File menu
    3) Provide a Project Name and Subproject Name of your choice and
click OK

For Homes projects, the unit names should be indicated in the field
‘House or Apartment Block Name’ under Subproject details. This
information may also be uploaded in a document under the “Other
subproject documents” section of the Design Page.

/Please note that this functionality is not available when the project
is in read only mode (e.g., during audit, during review, and after
certification)./

Your Project's EDGE Auditor*/
*/
/*You have not yet identified an EDGE Auditor for your project.  Please
see below for your next steps.

*/Next Steps/*

1. Please select and contract with an EDGE Auditor. The EDGE Auditor
will be your primary point of contact and will be responsible for
completing an impartial and objective evaluation of your project via
design and site audits to determine whether it meets the
requirements of the EDGE Standard. Please visit
https://edge.gbci.org/certification#select for a current list of
Auditors. Please reply to this email indicating the name of your
EDGE Auditor as soon as you have identified them.
 2. Input your building design parameters into the EDGE software
<https://app.edgebuildings.com/#/> file created for registering the
project. Check out the EDGE user guides
 <https://edgebuildings.com/learning/user-guides/> for additional
 information.
 3. Once ready, please go ahead and compile the necessary documentation
for the Auditor’s review and upload the required documentation into
the EDGE Software. Note that in addition to the documentation
specific to the measures selected, documentation uploads are also
required under the Design Page. To submit a project for audit to
your Auditor, please go to the Dashboard and click ‘Send project for
 audit’.
 4. Your Auditor will complete the Design Audit and/or Post-Construction
Audit (at least two rounds of review for each stage) and provide
review comments within the EDGE software file. You will have an
option to download the review report for your project to view
measures that are approved and those that might need additional
clarifications. For issuance of your Preliminary EDGE Certificate
and/or Final EDGE Certification, your Auditor will make a
 recommendation to GBCI.
 5. GBCI will complete a Quality Check and issue an EDGE Certificate, if
no issues are found. Note that GBCI will only be able to initiate
the Quality Check after the EDGE certification fee has been paid.

Please reach out to your EDGE Auditor if you have any technical
questions as you prepare your EDGE assessment. Your Auditor will be able
to guide you through the certification process. You may also review the
guide to EDGE certification available here:
